This study analyses the effects of several waste management policies on recycling rate of hazardous industrial waste such as used lube oils by using country-level temporal data for Tunisian Company of Lubricants (TCL) from 1980-2015. The examined policy variables include pricing waste collection, curbside recycling services and dropoff centres. In this paper, we aim to demonstrate that different recycling programs such as curbside and drop-off recycling act as complements in increasing recycling rate. The empirical results indicate that these policy variables are also found to be effective measures to increase the rate of regenerating of used lube oils
