Current Education System and Policy in Developing and Developed Countries-An Overview

Sivakumar JT Gowder

In this century, education is important for all walks of life. Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can change the world.” So, education is powerful and life without education is like “air without oxygen.” Through education, man can attain an intellectual capacity and purity of mind by canceling vulgar and tawdry emotions . Education involves-knowledge, learning and experience. A person who provides education is an educator (teacher or professor). Thus, students can acquire knowledge, experience and skills in educational organizations through teachers. At different levels of education (schools, colleges and universities), students can learn the subjects of their interest and also skills that will help them to be more competitive in this present atmosphere. Usually, smart and sincere students will always do well in their professions and students who are good with their teachers will also do well with their employers. It is just like the inheritance of acquired characters. Thus, good students will become not only good professionals but also good citizens for the society in the future.
